Art to address behavior problems in children

New scientific study confirmed that art therapy in schools helps troubled children to return to normal lives.

The study was published -alta Bmtbuah "The Arts The Saikuthiraba" - on what is known as the British school of "art room program," which was launched in 2002 to help children between five and 16 who say their teachers they need to support the moral and behavioral.

There are nine programs to room art schools in Britain, in which more than ten thousand children since its inception.

The researchers revealed that the children came out of the art room program which takes ten weeks they are less depressed and less behavioral problems. Their image of themselves as improved.

Said Melissa Cortina, a consulting research psychology program at the Art Room, Oxford in England, The Art Room provides care space and creativity through which children can learn and achievement in art.

She added that the program "works closely with schools to support children within the school environment and help them to find innovative ways to enhance their image of themselves." She said that "working with children and young boys who suffer from serious problems, and may be at risk of isolation in the school."

Cortina said that the art room, a program that works on the development of children's social skills and the education and treatment, and that the aim is to help children to re-engage in education.

She also said they "Once you realize that they can achieve success in the art room, unable to return to their schools and natural life with this new confidence."
