Family meals are fighting obesity in adolescents

The family meals as a weapon to fight obesity among adolescents, especially when parents provide a role model and eat healthy food with their children, where encourage teens to eat healthy.

Is based on the German Association for pediatricians to a recent study by the University of Minnesota, US, during which the researchers analyzed 2287 data teenager, 51% of whom are suffering from obesity and 22% of obesity.

The results of the study, which lasted for ten years, that teens who made it clear they never participate in family meals, or that their families did not dine together, suffer from obesity by 60% and obesity by 29%.
